Can you redesign our existing website?
Yes. A redesign is quoted like a new website. We keep the pages and search settings that already bring in enquiries, and we keep your domain and hosting if they’re in your business’s name, or help you move them into it.
Who writes the text for the pages?
You supply the text and photos, and we send a list of what each page needs. We edit what you send for length and clarity. If you’d rather not write it, we can draft each page from a one-hour interview and source licensed photos, from R1,500 a page, quoted in writing first.

Most web apps are built with TypeScript and Node.js, a PostgreSQL database and a front end in React or Astro.
Frequently asked questions
Do you build apps for the App Store and Google Play?
Yes. We build mobile apps for iOS and Android and price them in your quote. If your users don’t need an app store app, a progressive web app (PWA) that installs on the phone’s home screen usually costs less.
What if scoping shows the app will cost more than planned?
You find out before you commit to the build. If the quote is above the budget you gave us, scoping includes one revision to a smaller MVP that fits it. You can also stop after scoping and keep the documents.
Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes. We sign your NDA before scoping starts. What you share with us is used only to plan and price your project.

We take over websites and apps built by other developers, including legacy systems your business relies on and unfinished projects. Every project takeover starts with a R2,500 code audit, which covers the code, hosting, domain, backups and monitoring.

Systems we work with
Astro, React, Next.js and Angular front ends, Node.js apps with PostgreSQL databases, and their hosting and email. If your website or app runs on software we can’t support well, the audit report says so and sets out the options.
Frequently asked questions
Can you take over if our previous developer isn’t responding?
Usually, yes. If any accounts are in the previous developer’s name, we help you request them and explain the options for each one. If a domain can’t be recovered, the website can move to a new domain with redirects from the old one, and we quote for that first.
What if you can’t take on the work?
The audit report explains why and sets out your options. You keep the report either way.

Terms
Support plans are optional, billed monthly in advance and run month to month, with one month’s notice to cancel. Work outside your plan is charged at R850 an hour, and we quote it before we start.
